Do Not Let The Days

Cross with blue sky

I know we have many concerns about what is going on, and yes, things are going to happen- things we may not enjoy or wish we could avoid. The Christian cannot let what’s going on affect what God plans to do with them. This is time for the Christians to be on duty.

It is the Christian who has the ability to bring change by their faith in the mighty God of the universe. Remember that Jesus is Lord, and He is Lord of all. Use His name. The blood of Christ has conquered sin and won our victories. The cross is the Christian’s symbol of victory. It reminds the Christian there has been a battle, and it has been won. The resurrection of Christ brought grace and then overcame death and sin, once and for all.

If your life is secure with Christ, why fear death? You’ll live forever because you are His. No devil can steal that from you when you belong to Christ. There are some of us that God needs to remind, at times, just who He is. When we forget, He may need to remind us.

God will watch over His people. Now there are many who play their own gods, and they will not be able to stand when trouble overtakes them. It is the Christian that must remember you have something more than just flesh. The Christian has the power of the Holy Spirit to help them.

Only the true follower of Christ is going to push through these days in front of us and what we might face. Do not let the days in which we live cause you, if you are a Christian, to go around acting like the world is acting. The Christian must behave differently because there are a bunch of people that need to see the power of God’s love at work in them. Always rely on the promises of God’s word.

Look at Romans 8:35: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?” It’s the power and the love of God that is going to put an end to this continuous chaos that is covering the land. Never forget that God is in charge. Never let what is going on around you overshadow what God can do.
