FIND PEACE WITH GOD

Admit you have sinned.

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (I John 1:8)

It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter what you think of yourself. It doesn't matter how many good things you've done.

You are a sinner. By man's standards, you may have lived a good life, done more good than harm and attended church before. It doesn't change that you've sinned.

You can't make up for your sins, but you can be forgiven for them.

Believe in Jesus.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

There is plenty of scientific, historical and logical evidence that God exists. However, if someone has already made their mind up that there is no god, any of that evidence can be explained away.

Consider the emotional evidence. Do you feel like there's something missing in your life? A void you need to feel, something hard to explain?

That emptiness may be your need for a savior. The reward is too great for you to ignore the possibility.

Confess and forsake your sins.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us these sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)

No matter what you've done, God will forgive you as long as you sincerely ask forgiveness for your sins. You can't save yourself. You need to believe that Jesus' death on the cross, a sinless sacrifice, covers your sins. Accept that sacrifice today.
