Accountability in Giving

When you give to help KNEO radio financially, you are giving to a Christian ministry that has a board of local men and women who are board members made up from various churches and walks of life.

From that board are 5 officers which also serve within the board as the finance committee with its own chairman, separate from the board chairman. The finance committee members have the authority only over bank accounts and overseeing monthly finance reports.

There are term limits and elections each year for different members with checks and balances set up within the board to make sure the ministry is overseen by more than one person. There are 4 quarterly board meetings a year. (With special meetings called when needed.)

There is also an advisor board which is made up of advisors who must be qualified to serve and from this board is chosen new board members. Advisors have some authority but not voting rights.

This is all set in order within a handbook that governs the ministry and, as always, 51% is the override that regardless of what KNEO faces and the decisions to be made. It is ministry first, then the 49%.
