The Battle of the Heavenlies

Our lives take on much more than we see with our physical eyes. Our lives are made with a fleshly body, but our souls are not. Our soul is spiritual, and down deep that is what really controls us.

Now, you will hear people mention a person having a good heart toward others, but really they’re talking not about our physical heart- which is an organ of flesh- but a spiritual one, which really is the soul of a man or woman.

Our soul is what we are really like; it is who we are, and who has control of our soul determines the paths we follow every day. There are only two who can process our soul: the maker of it, God through Jesus as Lord over it; or the devil that wants to destroy it.

See, the soul of mankind never dies, only the physical part of us; what people see and what you see in the mirror. You can find in Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

For some people, this is too weird for them to think about. It’s more than they care to think on, and that is what these powers of darkness want you to think as they manipulate lives. People think of scary movies as funny, but they’re just another ploy of the enemy of your soul to take spiritual things lightly. You’ll gradually be deceived and lead astray.

We all need to truly understand the bible and its truths, for that’s one of those places where the enemy of our soul is fearful.
