The Authority of the Call
2nd Timothy 1:9 - Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted to us in Christ Jesus for all eternity.
Every person is called by God to do certain things while here on earth. We are not here to coast through life, but to accomplish God’s purpose for His kingdom. Although some folks never realize they have been chosen and just live to survive, 2nd Peter tells us - Therefore brother be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you. For as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble.
You may be a little confused about what it is you have been chosen to do. Remember to pray, asking God to steer you in the right direction. The answer will come along with the strength and authority to accomplish the task ahead. When you are in the place God has chosen to fit you into, peace, contentment and success are sure to follow.
There is nothing like being in the place God has destined you to be to further His kingdom. You are established by God to do important things here on earth. So, if you will search after the will of God through His Word and the life of His Son, Jesus, a greater peace will fill your life.
