Living in Two Worlds

There really are different worlds. All of us know this one we live in and experience what we know as life. This world is different than the next. God has created all, but His plans are usually much different concerning these worlds than most who live in this one.

Christians only are told to be different by God. For this world should never be considered eternal, but only a tiny place in time; and then the reality of time begins. This world was made only to occupy for a while, but the next world is “forever occupancy.”

Now God knows we have to start, but we really don’t end here. People’s earthly bodies are buried, but their souls take on a new body and go into eternity.

Then will be the crossroads of 2 worlds. Again, this time is forever; heaven where God is, or hell where God is not.

Today we have many who think they can live in this world as they please, ignoring God’s commandments, and some even play with religion but not true Christianity. A true Christian is known by their fruit- what they bear from their life with God’s son, Jesus.

Far too many people live in this world and prepare like they’ll be here forever, but they won’t. There’s only one "forever” world to live for, and God tells us this in His Word many, many times. In John 15:19, it says you’re not to be of this world, for there is coming an end to this world. It says in Matthew 13:40 that we cannot live and love this world and expect a greater reward. For God says “do not be conformed to this world.”

Which one do you put the most effort toward?
