Beyond All Things

The number one duty of a Christian- above and beyond anything else required of their lives- is first and foremost is to win souls to Christ.

Everything we do as Christians requires that we seek to see the lost accept Jesus as Lord. Without souls being won into the Kingdom, all the projects we accomplish have little value.

Unless the lost find their way to personally accept and know Jesus Christ as their savior, all other programs have little spiritual value. Much time is wasted, and only meager fruit is produced.

I’ve found that people can always write a check for some good programs, but few know how to present Jesus to others. If only we would put Jesus first and seek what is important to Him and His truly in-depth work, then His greater works will follow after us.

Just because someone carries a Bible in their hand doesn’t mean they carry the true Word of God in their heart. We need to take a look at our own motives of why we do what we do, because you can bet God does.
