Behind the Rock

One of the greatest accounts in the Bible is the resurrection of Jesus. Because Jesus was brought back from a death of cruel crucifixion, mankind can die to self and live forever.

He had been buried in a tomb of rock for three days when the power of Almighty God came upon Him and restored His life. Jesus’ life, death and resurrection made it possible for our sins to be forgiven after we ask Him to come into our hearts and to live forever in eternity with the Father.

You see, sometimes with all the difficulties that arise daily, we think our lives are going nowhere. We deal with failed friendships and marriages, battle situations from money problems to internal struggles, with no solution in sight- all because we try to do it on our own.

By the way, how’s that going for you? Is it time to find a friend who can do something? Is it time to stand behind the rock where all sins are forgiven and the road to eternity begins?

Remember: Jesus overcame the trials of this world, and if we allow Him, He will help us get through our disappointments and trials, too.

Let the attachments and problems of trying to live life your way fall away. Jesus is the way to a new life, a new life that offers hope, the ability to challenge the world, and the Heavenly Kingdom to come.
