Why Do Some Struggle?

We all have our moments. We all have our shortcomings. Nobody is perfect.

We all have some sort of struggles and troubles to deal with. It’s just part of living in a non-perfect world among non-perfect people.

So why do some folks have a much more difficult time handling adversity than others? What makes some people look at problems differently than others?

Everyone can survive difficulties here, and even the best can be overwhelmed, but some handle trials better than others.

Could the answers be the same principles to live by as the ones we find in the Bible? Could they be the very principles given by God that some take to heart and practice, and others don’t?

Take Proverbs 3, for example. It talks mostly about wisdom. God plainly tells us that if we will apply our ways to His ways, we can find peace more so than others, or be blessed above those who work themselves into exhaustion for the same things.

In other words, we’re told that wisdom is more precious than any other valuables; that it can bring healing and refreshment to our bodies. Doesn’t that make more sense than working ourselves into exhaustion with worry?

When troubles come your way, pick up the Bible. Use the wisdom God provides to see us through to the end of the crisis. Putting these principles into practice will help us trust the Lord completely and live a much more satisfying life. We become happier people because we’ll see life differently and not make it something it isn’t.
