What is Your Spiritual Address?

I believe many people today think they reside next to God’s kingdom and will someday be moving there. I believe there are lots of people who think they are a resident of one town and all the time really living in another one, spiritually speaking.

The Christian life is a life of faith which will lead to one’s supernatural growth unless there is actually no spiritual life. Then all the growth is only by mankind’s involvement more than God’s. In Revelation 3, we can see that the Laodicean church started out good, but got bogged down because of their not allowing their God-given abilities to serve God, but served themselves.

Many of the churches today have become far too comfortable in just being a church. Some have adapted more to what the people want than actually what the people need. Some of our churches today are on dangerous ground spiritually and we all need to wake up to what is happening.

What city are you a resident of today? And, by the way, God does know all of our spiritual addresses. Do you need to move and relocate? Maybe we need to ask God to evict us, if need be. Because God needs us to be out of some of the things we take up our time with, the places we go, the people we might be influenced by.

God has His ways to wake up His church, but I am concerned what will be the price that may have to be paid to get the Christian’s attention. For the Christians are the real church today. God is not going to let Satan continue to reap havoc upon the people. There is going to be a time of reckoning, and it may be costly to some.

We need to evaluate our walk with God constantly to become consistently faithful and grow and from that producing fruit. God has remarkable ways to help us if we are willing to let Him change us and refine our lives spiritually. God is not limited by mankind’s ways. God has His own ways of getting people’s attention. Make sure He has yours now instead of later.
