...or so it would seem

The Bible, in its last chapter, tells of a man who would be able to lead the world out of great turmoil: or so it would seem.

This man will have great wisdom: or so it would seem.

He will be able to pull troubled nations together, solving problems from the economy to military conflicts: or so it would seem.

This man will have great charisma and be able to unite people who have been at war for centuries: or so it would seem.

Many will be drawn to him in this time of reconciliation, financial stabilization and peace. All over, the world governments will be working together, and the problems at the root of the struggle to survive will be over: or so it would seem.

This man will experience great opposition at first, but he will overcome adversity. He will be able to succeed with deception, be victorious over death and lead the world: or so it would seem.

Folks, the Bible warns us to be discerning and primed for such a man as this. The people of the world are looking for a savior, and this man fits the bill: or so it would seem.

Be careful! The deceiver is roaming.

But are Christians ready? Are they “prayed up,” living and working for the kingdom and going to heaven: or so it would seem?
