God Would Like to Have a Word with You
Believe it or not, God would like to talk to you everyday. Yet talking with God is not on many to-do lists.
Is it because we think He’s not really concerned with our daily lives? Do many think He’s going to do what He wants, so why does He need or care about my comments?
If that were true (and it isn’t), then we’d have no need for prayer. God will sometimes talk to people outside the realm of prayer. He desires to spend time with you because He always has a word for you. Maybe it is to teach, maybe to comfort, maybe to encourage, maybe to direct; from the beginning of time, God has always been there.
The book of Genesis relates that God talked with Adam and Abraham. Later in Exodus, He talked with Moses, and in Acts with Paul. God has always been talking to His people; the trouble is His people are not always listening.
God understands you better than anyone. He knows your needs, your problems, and the answers to all of your questions. He wants to have a word with you about these areas of your life and many, many more.
Please listen and talk to Him. He, above all others, will rightly understand what it is you want to say. Then if you listen and watch what happens concerning you, you’ll find just what you need at just the right time.
Why not let Him have some time today to have a word with you?
